D. Bradley Poe, a native of Paragould, Arkansas, joined Cordts and Gulley, PLLC as an associate in
the fall of 2006. He concentrates his practice in the areas of
family law,
business law,
and intellectual property.
Mr. Poe has extensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution. He represents clients before the United States Patent and
Trademark Office, assisting his clients in obtaining patent and trademark protection. He is a member of the Memphis Bar Association.
Mr. Poe advises clients in the aspects of business formation and conversion, assisting clients in protecting both their business and
personal assets. He has formed numerous business entities of differing forms for a diverse clientele, ranging from single-member
Limited Liability Companies to multi-million dollar companies. Mr. Poe has also assisted medical field business clients in understanding
their obligations under the Stark Law.
Mr. Poe also assists clients in all aspects of family law. He has helped clients navigate divorce proceedings, child custody and support
matters, and adoptions.
Before joining Cordts and Gulley, PLLC, Mr. Poe worked with The Data Company, a litigation technology support firm based in Memphis, Tennessee.
While there, he assisted in trials throughout the nation. Mr. Poe later formed and headed the company’s Electronic Discovery department,
assisting both companies and law firms with the collection, preservation, analysis, and production of electronically stored data. He
also helped educate members of the legal community on the technical and legal aspects of electronic discovery through numerous Continuing
Legal Education presentations.
